The Culture Yard Library
We have over 1.000 visitors every day – most of whom come to use the library, but many come to experience a living culture center.
Come by and check us out
Come and visit – even if you are not into books. We have wireless internet, games, music and pc's – all free. We have free access to the large databases, Filmstriben (online movies), eReolen and eReolen Global (online eBooks and audiobooks - also in English). Not to mention the amazing view of the harbor and Kronborg Castle!
If you need assistance from the staff, please use the library at these times:
Monday: 10.00 - 18.00
Tuesday: 10.00 - 19.00
Wednesday: 10.00 - 19.00
Thursday: 10.00 - 20.00
Friday: 10.00 - 18.00
Saturday: 10.00 - 16.00
Sunday: 11.00 - 16.00
We are open all days except public holidays, Easter Saturday and Sunday, 1st May from 12 o'clock, Constitution Day 5th of June, 24th December and 31st December.

How to get here
- See the parking map of the municipality (in Danish)
- There are 2 parking spaces for disabled in the yard of The Culture Yard
- Busses stop at Allegade, just in front of the library
- It only takes 10 minutes to walk from Elsinore train station to The Culture Yard.
