Registration
Registering is free. In order to register, you must show valid identification - i.e. health insurance card (yellow card), driver’s license, passport or birth- or name certificate. Your registration is valid in all the libraries of the municipality. The health insurance card (yellow card) is subsequently used when borrowing library materials.
Upon registration, you choose a four digit PIN that is used when borrowing library materials and logging onto this website.
If you don’t have a Danish health insurance card (yellow card) , or if you are below the age of 16, we can issue a special library card. Nobody above the age of 16 is allowed to use children’s library cards for the loan of adult materials.
The library card is for your use only. You are responsible for what is borrowed on the card.
If you lose your library card, you can get a new card free of charge.
If you move to another address, please remember to notify us.
How to register as a borrower.
Return materials outside opening hours
If you need to return your borrowed materials outside of our opening hours, you can place the materials in the white drop box at the back of the building.
Please note: The due date is the last day of the library’s staffed opening hours. The drop box is emptied shortly before opening time on staffed days, and your materials will not be registered as returned until that time.
Personal data
Your personal data is safe with us. Danish libraries delete the registration of your loans when you return them. None of your personal data is registered using the computers at the library - you just have to restart the computer and everything is deleted.
